Why should I go to the guide?<\/b><\/span>
\n \u00b7 <\/b><\/span>Defines terms commonly used by educators<\/b><\/span><\/span>
\n \u00b7 Gives examples of skills children will be taught in each grade<\/b><\/span>
\n \u00b7 Explains what will happen if a child falls behind and what help is offered to catch up<\/b><\/span>
\n \u00b7 Suggests what parents, as partners in the learning process, can do at home. <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Tests can be taken and parents can sign up for email notifications regarding their child\u2019s AR test taking scores. <\/span><\/p>\n

To sign up to receive an e-mail for each quiz your child takes on AR quiz, please log in to Home Connect.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Storyline Online<\/span><\/a>: videos featuring members of the Screen Actors Guild reading stories aloud. Obviously not a substitute for reading to your kids, but probably better than TV or video games.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

International Children\u2019s Digital Library<\/span><\/a>: read over 4000 books online for free.<\/span><\/span><\/td>\n
